Social Responsibility

Respecting the Communities is the foundation of our partnership. Exploitation has plagued the Amazonian natives for centuries, most notably by the Rubber Barons during the early twentieth century.  Our exciting partnership ensures that local farmers in the area remain enthusiastic for their hard work while protecting the land that was passed down to them from their elders.

Our founder Jess started investing in Micro Finance interest-free loans for local Peruvians to start a business as well as investing in other notable charities providing education to children in isolated Andean communities.  In early 2012 Jess visited a wildlife and nature conservation area spanning tens of thousands of acres and was offered a volunteering job helping with day to day chores and labor. Years later he would be piloting boats through Amazon river tributaries with supplies and providing logistical support for world class film crews.

While volunteering, he witnessed the aftermath of logging the largest trees and dangerous animal traps.  As Jess has stated, "It is not the fact that a single tree is harvested of course, trees fall naturally but many dozens of smaller trees are cut down to create rollers and tracks. Additionally a long path must cut to roll the massive trees to the rivers and then floated for many days to sawmills."
